Supported formats
We accept many types of input video files (hundreds of them!) including every modern video format.
To get the best possible processing speeds be sure to use our recommended, standard input formats.
File uploads
You can upload a single file or multiple. Each file will start processing as soon as it’s finished so with a large batch you don’t need to wait for all the uploads to finish.
There is no fixed file size limit although each individual video needs to be under 12 hours in length (we hope that’s plenty!).

Our smart upload system means your uploads go to a location as close to you as possible.
UK, US, South Africa, Australia? No problem everyone gets lightning fast uploads (dependant on your own internet connection).
File imports
If you already have your content uploaded to a cloud storage provider or our legacy product you can take advantage of our import tool. No need to re-upload your files simply give us a CSV file and we’ll handle the rest.

MP4 for offline viewing
As well as various web optimised MP4 downloads we also give you access to an uncompressed source MP4. Useful for making additional edits to your video.
Processing and delivery
Just in time encoding
We don’t make you wait for our transcoding process to finish, offering the fastest video publishing possible. Videos are encoded while the first viewers watch them, making it available to watch in just a few seconds after upload.
Global, redundant delivery network
We use multiple CDN partners to offer a more resilient, fully redundant delivery strategy. Peace of mind protection against CDN or internet infrastructure issues.
Smart adaptive bitrate (ABR) ladder
Our encoding processes all work together to delivery the perfect, optimised adaptive bitrate ladder. We take care of the fine tuning which resolution and bitrate combinations to use.
Multiple embed methods
We make it simple to share your content, our single line embed code can be placed into most pages.
